How these posts are made

I want to be straight with you about how this blog works, because trust matters more than volume — especially on a site people rely on for compliance facts.

Drafted by an automated process

Each post is drafted by an automated process I built, running on top of VioCodes’ own data. Before a word is written, the system pulls the real numbers it’s going to talk about — violation severity weights, out-of-service rates, per-state inspection counts — straight from the same database that powers the lookup, insights, and map. Those numbers are the only facts a post is allowed to state.

Guardrail-checked before publishing

Every draft runs through an automated review before it can go live. Among other checks, it:

If anything looks off, the post doesn’t publish automatically — it’s held for me to review. I also spot-check published posts periodically. To be clear: not every post is read by a human before it goes live — the gate is automated — so if you ever spot something wrong, tell me through the feedback button and I’ll fix it fast.

Why bother

Because the useful version of a safety blog is one grounded in real inspection data, written the way a safety manager actually talks — not generic filler. That’s what I’m aiming for here.
